In order to provide a better service in MEDACES, we considered to include the positioning geographic component in the database to create a Geographic Information System. This tool will be very useful because it will allow the interaction between alphanumeric and graphic data. With this implement a proximity analysis, use of areas of influence, calculation of location statistics and any type of graphic analysis will be also possible.
